TRADITIONAL LIME PUTTY SYSTEM
We offer a three-coat lime system. It includes two backing coats of aggregate and lime with horsehair. A fine lime skim finish coat is then applied when backing coats are fully dry and cured. The system can be applied to both lath and masonry backgrounds. Curing is achieved through absorption of CO2 and should not be force-dried. This process can therefore be quite lengthy, depending upon the environmental factors present in the working area.
REFURBISHMENT LIME FINISH
We offer a lime finish that’s designed for refurbishing listed buildings. It’s utilised to achieve a uniform finish on variable suction backgrounds, and it’s perfect for refurbishment jobs where full restorations are unnecessary.
